What actually comes in a delivery?
Six double-sided sheets of letter paper, illustrated by Hannah with a surprise monthly theme, two coordinating envelopes, and an inspiration card to help you begin.
How much does it cost?
$180, paid upfront, for a year of membership. Or $300 for you and a penpal, which includes two full memberships. Shipping is free.
When will my delivery arrive?
Membership deliveries are sent early in the month. Shoppe orders are posted quickly. We’ll email you the day your delivery goes into the mail.
Can I pause or skip a month?
No, you cannot pause your membership or skip a month— if you need to change the address for your delivery you can manage your membership in the member portal.
Does it renew automatically?
Yes — membership renews each year so your deliveries don’t simply stop. You can switch that off whenever you like on the member portal. We’ll write to you three weeks before a renewal, so a charge is never a surprise. Switching off auto renew keeps every delivery you’ve already paid for; it only stops the next year beginning.
What is your refund policy?
If you change your mind before your first delivery ships, and contact us, we can refund your membership.
Once your first delivery is on its way, we can no longer refund the year and you will continue to receive deliveries until your year of membership is complete. We’re a small studio — each month’s paper is designed, printed and paid for well ahead of the day it reaches you, so your year is already in motion long before you see it.
You can manage your membership in the member portal, and switch off auto-renew so you are never charged again.
Why is the Society paid up front for the year instead of month-to-month?
If you’re looking for less of a commitment, you can buy letter paper sets from the Shoppe — no membership required. The Society is designed to be more than a one-time stationery purchase: a year of deliveries, planned and painted as a whole.
Can I give it as a gift?
Yes — choose “a gift for a friend” when you join, and they get the full year. Gift memberships never auto-renew, so your friend is never asked for a card and never charged. If you’d both like deliveries, You & a Penpal at $300 covers the two of you.
Where do you ship?
We ship within the USA only.
My delivery arrived damaged. What now?
Contact us and we will send you a replacement.
